🧪 What Sutshekhar Ras Is Used For

Sutshekhar Ras (also spelled Sootshekhar Ras) is a traditional Ayurvedic rasa formulation that mainly works on the Pitta dosha and is used for: 

• Relieving hyperacidity, heartburn, and gastritis

• Reducing nausea and vomiting

• Alleviating abdominal pain, bloating, dyspepsia

• Supporting digestive comfort & appetite

• Calming burning sensations and Pitta-associated symptoms*

Ingredients typically include purified minerals and herbs like shuddha parad (mercury), shuddha gandhak (sulphur), tankan bhasma (borax), shankh bhasma (conch ash) and digestive spices such as sunthi (dry ginger), pippali (long pepper), maricha (black pepper), etc.
