• 1. Weak cognitive functions – Learning, Concentration, Memory Manukparni has been reported to improve the higher brain functions – concentration of mind, learning, understanding, memory, etc. It is thus useful in lack of attention fluctuations, learning problems, difficulty in understanding, poor memory, speech disorders, addictions, etc.

• 2. Mental stress and anxiety Manukparni has been reported to alleviate mental stress and calm down the agitated mind. It is thus useful in mental stress, anxiety, insomnia, aggressive behaviour, hyperkinetic disorders, asocial behaviour.

• 3. Mental depression Manukparni has been reported to elevate the depressed mood. It is thus use in the management of mental depression.

• 4. Hypothyroidism Manukparni has been reported to stimulate the thyroid functions by enhancing the production of thyroid hormones – T3, T4. It is thus useful in the management of hypothyroidism.
