Bilva Tail (Bilwa Tail, Bilvadi oil), an Ayurvedic herbal medicated oil, is traditionally made with Bilva (Aegle marmelos) as the main ingredient. It’s usually prepared in a base like sesame oil and processed according to Ayurvedic principles (Sneha Paka). The name Bilva refers to the bael plant, which has a long history in Ayurveda for its medicinal properties

This oil is commonly used externally — especially for:

• Ear discomfort & pain (Karna shoola) and otitis-related symptoms.

• Supporting ear health, including relief from tinnitus (ringing) and hearing discomfort.

• Lubricating ear passage during karna poorana (ear-oil therapy).

• Sometimes gentle head or temple massage to soothe tension and heat (traditional use).

👉 In Ayurvedic context, Bilva Tail’s cooling and anti-inflammatory properties help pacify Pitta and Kapha dosha when there is irritation or inflammation around ear and head regions.

🧴 How to Use (Traditional Guidance)

• For ear support: use a dropper to place 2–3 drops in the ear (karna poorana) once or twice daily, or as directed by a qualified Ayurvedic doctor.

• For head/temple massage: gently apply a small amount on temples or around ears (avoid putting oil deep inside).
