Kottakkal Ayurvedic Indukantam Kashayam is a traditional herbal formulation designed to address various health concerns, particularly those related to digestion and immunity. This concentrated decoction is commonly used to alleviate bloating, flatulence, abdominal pain, slow digestion, and poor appetite. Additionally, it is beneficial in managing fever, colds, and flu, and is known to enhance the body's immune system and overall endurance. 

Ingredients: The key components of Indukantam Kashayam include:

• Dashamula: A blend of ten medicinal roots, such as Aegle marmalade, Shionaka, Patala, Shaliparna, Prishniparna, Brihati, Kantakari, Gokshura, Agnimantha, and Kasmarya. This combination is believed to have a strong healing effect, improving the state of the neuroendocrine system and aiding in the treatment of feverish conditions.

• Pippali (Piper longum): Known for its antiseptic properties, Pippali stimulates the gastrointestinal tract, increases appetite, and aids in the secretion of stomach and pancreatic juices.

• Chitrak (Plumbago zeylanica): Used in Ayurvedic medicine for its digestive and anti-inflammatory properties.

Dosage: For adults, the recommended dosage is 10 to 15 ml, taken twice daily before meals on an empty stomach. For children, 5 to 10 ml is advised. The kashayam should be diluted with three times its volume of lukewarm water before consumption.
