Jatiphal (Myristica fragrans)

Jatiphal is analgesic (shula-nut), anti-inflammatory (vrana-hara), anti-rheumatic (ama-vata-hara), and modulates neuro-endocrine mechanisms (anil-apaham). It showed sedative and analgesic effects, with no harmful effects on blood pressure and ECG. With the current information, it is evident that M. fragrans has pharmacological functions including anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-convulsant, antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant activities.
Godanti (Gypsum)

Godanti is an analgesic (vedna-hara) and antipyretic (jvara-hara). It is widely used for the management of headache, fever, body-ache, and other painful conditions.
Vatsanabh (Aconitum ferox)

Vatsanabh is analgesic (vedana-sthapana) and antipyretic (jvara-hara). The principal mechanism underlying the analgesic action is – the acetyl and benzoyl esters present in the diester diterpinoid alkaloids bind to the sodium channels and activate the influx of Na+ ions through cell membranes.
Hingul (Hydrargyrum sulfuratum)

Hingul is antipyretic (jvara-hara), anti-rheumatic (ama-vata-hara), anti-toxic (gara-hara), and bioavailability enhancer (yogavahi).
