• Cardiovascular disorders: Gandira lowers raised blood pressure. It acts directly on the blood vessels and dilates them. This effect Gandira results from the Forskolin. Gandira is thus useful in the management of hypertension.

• Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS / PCOD): Gandira has been reported to be useful in the management of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS / OCOD). It acts by restoring the immune functions.

• Metabolic Syndrome: Gandira has been reported to be useful in the management of metabolic syndrome, and in overweight and obese people. It acts by enhancing tissue sensitivity to insulin. In addition, it lowers the absorption of dietary fat by interfering with the pancreatic lipase activity.
