Saptamrit Lauh Tablet is a classical ayurvedic multi-drug formulation used for the management of eye disorders.

  • Saptamrit Lauh has been described to increase vision in Simple Myopia (Pratham Patalgata Timir) in which the patient can see nearby things clearly, but the vision get blurry while seeing the distant things.

  • When used at an early stage, Saptamrit Lauh may prove to be quite useful in Premature Cataract (Timir). It is largely because Saptamrit improves blood supply and thus the nutrition to the eye structures and tissues, relaxes the tense muscles, slows down / repairs / reverses the damage done to the lens by the causative factors mentioned above.

  • Rasayan – Anti-oxidant, rejuvenative, regenerative and anti-degenerative

  • Immuno-modulator – Modulates immunity, by inhibiting the excessive activation of immune cells

    Haritaki (Terminalis chebula)

    Haritaki, scientifically known as Terminalia chebula, is a medicinal plant that has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, primarily in India. It is one of the three fruits that make up the popular Ayurvedic formulation known as "Triphala," along with Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica) and Amalaki (Emblica officinalis).     Dosage:

    Saptamrit Lauh Tablet should started as per the body weight and severity of the underlying disease, as below –

    Adults: 2 tablets, thrice a day;

    Adolescents: 2 tablets, twice a day;

    Children (10-12 years): 1 tablet, thrice day;

    Children (6-9 years): ½ -1 tablet, twice a day.

     

    After every dose, after the patient gulps the advised number of Saptamrit Lauh Tablets with water, milk, fruit juice, Amritoj water, etc., ask them to take 1 gm ghrit and 3 gm honey.
